Il-hwan Ahn served in multiple senior economic and fiscal leadership positions within the South Korean government, including Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance, Chief Budget Officer, Senior Economic Secretary to the President, and Ambassador to the OECD.
He holds a BA in International Economics from Seoul National University, an MPA from Seoul National University, an MS in Economics from the University of Ottawa, and a PhD in Public Administration from The Catholic University of Korea.
He currently serves as an advisor, independent board member, and visiting professor, providing policy and regulatory perspective to private-sector organizations.
